The Home Farm Conference Centre

After capturing the nation's imagination on the BBC TV series 'Restoration', this is one of the largest restoration projects in the country. Now thanks to the Wentworth Castle Trust, who restored the buildings and landscape, we are able to offer a superb conference centre to businesses and organisations, along with residential single en-suite accommodation.

The Arched Barn

Built in the 18th Century provides seminar facilities for 25 people on the ground floor and residential accommodation on the first floor.

St James' Hall

Built in the 19th Century has been restored with the original exterior and within has an auditorium capable of seating 80 delegates theatre style.

The Long Barn built in the 18th Century accommodates Wentworth Castle Trust's cafeteria and shop on the ground floor and additional refreshments and workshop/seminar facilities on the first floor.

The Dairy built in the 18th Century has been restored for use as a workshop which can be used for drama, craft making etc or as a break-out room. It has a large wooden floor with a small carpeted area.

The Main House

The Queen Anne Suite of early Georgian design offering a superb ambience for use as training workshops.

Conference Room a large airy room with original marble fireplace as its centre-piece and overlooking the gardens.

Old Library a large oak panelled room with doors leading out into the gardens. This was the original library and still houses many books.

IT Rooms are available for daily hire. Each room contains computers.

The Main Dining Room within Wentworth Castle, with its impressive ceilings, paintings and gilded columns can seat up to 100 people in banquet style.

The Blue Room a prestigious function suite finely decorated in blue and gold, has its own private bar and dance floor, making it an ideal venue for all kinds of receptions and functions.

IT and Library and Learning Resources Centre (LLRC)

Within the magnificent Long Gallery in Wentworth Castle, the Library and Learning Resources Centre combines a coveted traditional library atmosphere with state-of-the-art information technology infrastructure. The Library is situated at the front of The House, overlooking the parkland, spanning the whole of the Baroque wing. Well worth a visit if only to see the splendour of this magnificent room.

Experienced Librarians and the Technical Support staff are available to provide help and advice. The LLRC is available to every student/delegate who attends a course or event.
