Access to HE Diploma (Social Sciences)
If you undertake a Diploma in Social Sciences you will study subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, Social Policy and Criminology. The study of Sociology provides us with the tools for making sense of our everyday lives; Social Policy explores welfare policies and aspects of social inequality; and Psychology provides an introduction to understanding human behaviour. The Criminology module explores a number of themes relating to crime and justice.

The Social Sciences Diploma would be appropriate for students wishing to move on to study or work in a number of fields including: Counselling, Health and Human Sciences, Social Work, Sociology and Criminology, Psychology and Nursing.

- Achieved the Access to HE Diploma in Social Sciences aged 42
- Now studying at the University of Huddersfield for a degree in Youth and Community Work
