Northern College maintains strong links with a number of trade unions and supports trade union activity through the provision of short courses arranged directly with the trade unions and branches. The College also offers the Access to Higher Education Diploma in Labour Studies (part-time, two years) for adults who are active in the labour movement, for example, in a trade union or a campaigning organisation. There are no formal entry requirements although you will need to demonstrate a serious commitment and a mature approach to learning and study.
