What is Introduction?

This is an introductory level course for beginners and requires no formal qualifications to apply.

On this course, you’ll use a range of tools to create a variety of software applications. Using an online app creator, you’ll create a basic application for a smartphone, before moving on to write some actual code to create a small computer program.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal requirements; students will be required to have completed the Next Steps in Computers course, or already have digital skills equivalent to those listed in that course’s description; they will also require some familiarity with writing HTML and CSS, such as by completing the college’s Creating Webpages course.
