This is an introductory level course for beginners and requires no formal qualifications to apply.

This course is designed for beginners with little to no prior experience in web design, providing a hands-on introduction to building and linking webpages.

Course description

Embark on a two-day journey to explore the fundamentals of web design and create your very own website from scratch.

Course content

The course will teach you how to build webpages using HTML and CSS code.

What can this course lead to?

Once this and the college’s Creating Apps course are completed, you will be ready to join the Intro to Computer Programming course.

All work is completed on the college computers using free software so you can continue your learning once the course is complete.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal requirements; students will be required to have completed the Next Steps in Computers course, or already have digital skills equivalent to those listed in that course’s description.
