Staying over whilst you study is the best way to experience our College if you can. Don’t just take our word for it – we have asked our students what the best things about studying residentially are.

Here are the top five reasons: 

1. Space to concentrate on your course – by staying over at the College, you have the space and time to really focus on your studies without outside distractions.  
2. Meeting new people – nearly all our courses have the option to stay over which means you will meet a lot of new friends on your course and from around the College. 
3. Home cooked meals – when you stay you will get home cooked meals in our diner – a fave place of staff and students at the College! 
4. Student Hub and the Library – our Student Hub is the perfect place to relax after lessons in the evening and hang out with fellow classmates. You can also go to our Library to take out books, relax and of course study. 
5. The campus! Even though we are only 15 mins from Barnsley town centre you are surrounding by beautiful countryside and National Trust gardens.
